Shore Thing is a deeper, more sophisticated interpretation of a coastal fragrance. Fresh sea salt brings a cool, mineral quality, while coconut adds a smooth creaminess without turning the scent tropical or overly sweet. Sandalwood and cedarwood ground everything with a dry, masculine warmth.
The result feels like cool air over dark water, salt left on warm skin and driftwood drying beside the shore. Fresh enough to lift a room but woody enough to remain unmistakably Borrowed, it creates a calm, atmospheric scent that works beautifully throughout the home.

How to burn it +
- First burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass. It takes two to three hours and stops the candle tunnelling for the rest of its life.
- Trim the wick to 5mm before every light.
- Never burn for longer than four hours at a time.
- Stop burning once 10mm of wax is left in the base.
What is in it +
100% natural soy wax, a lead-free cotton wick and fragrance oil loaded as high as the wax will carry cleanly. No paraffin, no petroleum by-products and no synthetic dyes. Poured by hand in the UK into a matte black glass vessel.
